Allen Asbury Edmonds, (Bo) born on February 13, 1951, passed away on August 5, 2020 at the Kanas Hospice Center in Quiogue after a hard fought battle with cancer.
He leaves behind his wife of 42 years, Stephanie, his sons, William Stuart and Alexander John and their wives Hong Li Edmonds and Alison Edmonds, his siblings, Anna Robbins (Babe) and her husband Doug, Louise McLoud (Tiny) and her husband Rick and his brother William (Bucksy) and his wife Amanda and their son William Allen who he spent much time babysitting and multiple nieces, nephews and greats and many friends old and new. He loved them well.
Allen spent time being a surfer, sailor, lobsterman, carpenter, boat builder and a motorcycle mechanic. His last job was working for his brother, Billy Edmonds at LI Kawasaki Yamaha in Hicksville.
However, his most essential work was performed as a father to his sons. He loved, cared for and guided them through life with intellect, patience and humor.
His fortitude and tenacity in these last years speaks to the fiber of the man and the example he wished to set.
Farewell my love.
