Clyde Hollman, age 71, died in Salisbury, Maryland on July 10, 2021. Clyde was born in Smoaks, South Carolina on January 19, 1950 to Orrie Williams and Bennie Hollman and moved to Bridgehampton, New York at the age of 12.

Clyde married Geraldean Perkins of Westhampton Beach on October 19, 1974 in Riverhead, New York, where they were both active members of Friendship Baptist Church and Clyde served as an usher. Clyde was an avid lover of sports, whether supporting his sons’ high school or college teams or cheering on the Jets, Giants, Knicks, or Nets. He was a fan of classic cars and restoration shows, and enjoyed playing pool and watching movies.

Clyde worked at Southampton Hospital for 37 years and was a renowned barber at Randy’s Barbershop in Southampton, New York, where he was a mentor and pillar within the community. Clyde also provided services to the local community by cutting hair at his home in Westhampton Beach, New York for over 20 years before relocating to Walterboro, South Carolina and eventually retiring to Georgetown, Delaware. 

Clyde is preceded in death by his loving wife of 46 years, Geraldean, who passed away April 8, 2020. He is survived by son Bryon Hollman of Georgia and his wife, Monica; son Lamar Hollman of Florida and his wife, Sheon; son Jermain Hollman of California and his wife, Shannon; daughter Nadia Lloyd of Pennsylvania; and grandchildren Adria, Jaylen, and Kamron. He is also survived by siblings Ann Prioleau, Bennie Hollman, Roger Hollman, Joseph Hollman; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and many friends

Geraldean Hollman, age 69, died in Milford, Delaware on April 8, 2020. Geraldean was born in Shawboro, North Carolina on January 7, 1951 to Bertie Lee Brooks Perkins and James Perkins. In her teen years, the family moved to Long Island, New York, where she graduated from Westhampton Beach High School in Westhampton Beach and attended Suffolk Community College.

Geraldean married Clyde Hollman of Bellport, New York on October 19, 1974 in Riverhead, New York, where they were both active members of Friendship Baptist Church. She spent three decades as a manager in the telecommunications field, starting at AT&T and eventually retiring from Verizon. She and Clyde relocated to Walterboro, South Carolina where she began a second career in the accounting department at Walmart before moving to Georgetown, Delaware.

Geraldean was a loving wife of 46 years, mother, friend, and family member who was adored and cherished by many. Always quick to laugh, she loved music, dancing, and reading. She also enjoyed sitting down, sharing a beer, and rehashing old stories. Geraldean attended all of her sons’ sporting events and was known for hosting neighborhood block parties, various Lioness Club charity events, and family gatherings from basement parties to backyard cookouts. She will be greatly missed for her sense of humor and care for others.

Geraldean is survived by son Bryon Hollman of Atlanta, Georgia and his wife, Monica; son Lamar Hollman of Tampa, Florida and his wife, Sheon; son Jermain Hollman of Long Beach, California and his wife, Shannon; and grandchildren Adria, Jaylen, and Kamron.  She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
