David Warner Obituary

David Warner of East Quogue, NY passed away on February 20,2023.  He was born on May 21, 1977 in Riverhead, NY, son of Charles and Cynthia Warner.  At only 45 years of age, he left his family and friends way too early.
He leaves behind both his parents Chuck and Cindy Warner, his sister Barbie (Warner) Freeman, his brother Rob Warner and fiancé Jen, nieces Emily and Jaidyn Freeman, Uncle Pete Young, Aunt Rose Hepworth, cousins Jimmy, Kelly, Donna, Lisa and Brandon, And a multitude of friends and people who loved him.
Dave will always be remembered for his love of animals, both domestic and wild.  One never knew when he would walk through the door with an orphaned baby raccoon or deer, an injured bird or yet another rescued kitten or puppy.  He also had a passion for wolves and always vowed that he would own one some day.  His passion for them and the Viking world was known by all through his extensive collection of t-shirts  and memorabilia.
He shared a love of the Yankees, bird watching, and passion of fishing with his dad and would beat his mom in every game of Jeopardy they watched.  His knowledge of history and miscellaneous facts was extensive.  He loved his nieces dearly and proudly displayed their names amongst his multitude of tattoos.  He found humor in the smallest things and had a genuine belly laugh that was truly contagious.
Dave was a big man, with a big beard, and an even bigger heart whom will be missed terribly.  It is the hope of his family that he is now at peace and doing the things he truly loves.
Following Dave’s wishes, there will be no services.  Donations in Dave’s memory can be made to any local Humane Society or Wildlife Refuge.
