Bennetter, Donald, B., "Pops", of Westhampton, NY, passed away peacefully on February 28. Beloved husband of Virginia. Devoted father of the late Walter F. Kramer, III, Elizabeth K. Davidson (Bradley), Dorothea K. Adams (Michael), Marguerite K. Kircher (Stephen) and Thomas Bennetter (Kathleen). Also survived by his sister Suzanne Middendorf, 10 grandchildren; Brendan Brown (Sara), Margaret Brown, Joe Brown (Kathleen), Sean Adams, Emily Adams, Mary Kate Adams, Thomas Adams, Sable Kircher, Cullen Kircher, and Kathleen "Boo" Bennetter; three great-grandchildren; Jet Arellano, Ryan Brown, and Ella Brown, many nieces and nephews, and countless great friends. Reposing Monday 2-5 and 7-10 pm at the Werner Rothwell Funeral Home, 60 Mill Road, Westhampton Beach. Funeral Mass on Tuesday at 11 am at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, 580 Main Street, Westhampton Beach. Interment Holy Rood Cemetery. Never underestimate the importance of having someone in your life who could always make you laugh. Pops was that person. Everyone that he touched, from his loving family and friends to his former students at Garden City High School will always think of him with a smile and a laugh.
