We are devastated to announce the passing of Felipe O. Ganguzza “The Chief” on December 27. He was born on November 27, 1947. He was a man of the world, originally from Argentina who settled in the village of Westhampton Beach and most recently in Riverhead. He spread laughter wherever he went. He is survived by his wife, three children and six grandchildren, as well as family members and friends all over the globe.
We will gather to remember him at Werner & Rothwell funeral home at 60 Mill Rd in Westhampton Beach on Saturday, January 6th at 10:00 AM; a mass will follow at the Immaculate Conception Church in Quiogue at 12:30 PM.
As Dad would say, whenever his kids would hit their thumbs with a hammer: “Don't worry chief, you'll feel better when it quits hurting.” I don't know when it will ever quit hurting, but we will feel better if you can join us to honor this exceptional man's life.
