Florence F. Flood

Florence Flood of Westhampton Beach passed away peacefully in her sleep on March 2, 2025. She was born on November 15, 1942, in the Bronx.

Florence married James Flood on January 14, 1981, and shortly thereafter, they moved to Westhampton Beach where they founded Westhampton T-Shirts, a business they successfully ran together for 42 years.

Affectionately known as "Flo," she was a beloved fixture on Main Street in Westhampton. Known for her warmth, humor, and joyful spirit, she touched the hearts of all who knew her. Throughout the years, Flo cared for and nurtured countless cats and kittens, providing them with love and care before finding them new homes. Her kindness and generosity will always be remembered by those who were fortunate enough to know her.

Florence is survived by her husband Jim, nieces Lisa (Ray) and Denyce (Mike) and great Niece and nephews, Lindsey, Matthew, Ryan, Aidan, and Brendan. 

Visitation will be Sunday, March 9th, from 4-8p at Werner Rothwell Funeral Home in West Hampton Beach. A mass will be held on Monday, March 10 at 11 AM. at Immaculate Conception  Roman Catholic Church in Westhampton Beach.
