Grace Autumn Guerra

Grace Autumn Guerra, age 14 of Remsenburg, passed away on February 4, 2021. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 from 3-7 PM at the Werner-Rothwell Funeral Home, located at 60 Mill Road, Westhampton Beach, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at 1:00 PM at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Westhampton Beach, NY. A private cremation will follow. 

A message from her family:
Thank you for all of your beautiful condolences, thoughts, love, prayers, and pictures. Thank you for rallying around her and our family for the past two years. The outpouring of support will never be forgotten and filled her soul up with love so that she may pass in peace.
If you plan to attend her wake at the Funeral Home, please keep in mind that due to the COVID-19 Virus, the number of people visiting at one time is limited. For everyone’s protection please maintain social distancing.  Although we would love to hug and kiss everyone there, we do not want anyone to be placed in jeopardy due to COVID. To allow the immediate family to greet other guests please limit your visitation to a few minutes so that we may provide time for everyone who wants to come to have that chance. 
Since Grace was such a bright light in all of our lives we invite you to wear her favorite color, Tiffany Blue at her wake.   
Wednesday, we will have a mass in Grace’s honor at the Immaculate Conception at 1 pm.  We are limited to  only 100 seats in the church and although we would love to have everyone there, we are asking to please limit guests to family and close friends only. Thank you for understanding.  If you plan on attending the mass or cannot for some reason and wanted to do something... the food pantry at the Parish is lacking supplies. Feel free to bring a donation in her honor.

Cancer treatments and to give it a good fight can be overwhelmingly expensive. These foundations have little support right now due to Covid restrictions. They need our help now more than ever. My apologies if I have forgotten any other foundations and God Bless those little souls that passed before Grace. There are just too many. She passed on National Cancer Awareness Day.  Even on the most trying day of her short life, she had the chance to make an impact. She was a lover. Keep her love going. Share your love with each other and the world. I would love to hear a story that you donated in her behalf, gave to a food pantry in her honor, did something nice for your neighbor in her honor.
