Helen Sadloski

Helen Sadloski of Westhampton Beach died on December 9, 2020. She was 89.
Helen was born in Westhampton, New York on October 8, 1931 to Trofim and Julia Andrechuk. Helen was a Westhampton Beach graduate, who continued her education at The Brooklyn Hospital School of Nursing. She was a Registered Nurse, who worked at Central Suffolk Hospital for 28 years. Helen was also an active member of the Westhampton War Memorial Ambulance. Some may know her as “Sid.”
Helen was very caring towards all of her family members. One of her many hobbies included taking her two sons fishing and crabbing. Helen was a fantastic cook and baker. She spent her Sundays attending Church and enjoying breakfast with her friends.
Helen was predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Edwin Sadloski Sr.; her three brothers, Henry, Walter, and George Andrechuk; and her sister Anna Churma.
Helen is survived by her sister, Mary Blewett and brother, John Andrechuk; her two sons, Edwin Jr. and wife Teresa, and James and wife Linda; her six grandchildren, Gregory, Kyle, Devon, Hannah, Kelley, and Jamie; and her three great grandchildren, Cora, Lily, and Noah.
Visitation will be held on December 15, 2020 at Werner-Rothwell Funeral Home in Westhampton Beach, New York followed by her burial at St. John’s Cemetery in Riverhead, New York.
