Judith Bradley Obituary

Judith Thompson Bradley, 81, of Quogue, NY and formerly of New York, New York, died Monday, March 1st, 2021 in Long Island. “Judy" was born on June 12, 1939, in New York City, the daughter of the late Samuel Alcott and Ruth Allen Thompson. Judy spent most of her life in New York City, Buck Hill Falls, PA and Quogue, NY.
Judy attended the Chapin School in New York and graduated from Miss Porter’s School in Farmington, CT and then Bennett Junior College in Millbrook, NY. Judy married Edward Michael Bradley in June 1962 and they raised four children together in New York City.
Judy was kind-hearted, warm and loving. She was always thoughtful and caring of others and carried herself with elegance and grace, always with a smile. She loved gardening and decorating and was an avid golfer and tennis player in her day and enjoyed playing backgammon until the end. And she loved making holidays feel extra special for her family, preparing her home fit for the occasion. But most if all, she was a gracious and loving and devoted mother, grandmother and friend.
Her four children and nine grandchildren were her greatest pride and joy.
Judy is survived by her husband E. Michael Bradley, her daughter, Jennifer Treat Bradley, and three sons, Michael Thompson Bradley (his wife, Melissa), Thomas Alcott Bradley (his wife, Ashley) and Samuel Allen Bradley (his wife, Natasha); nine grandchildren: Olivia and Sam Cannell, Fiona and Sawyer Bradley, Annabel, Louisa and Oliver Bradley and Victoria and Samuel Bradley, and her brother Allen Thompson.
May she Rest In Peace.
