Lucion Bloxon Jr., age 89, long time resident of Westhampton Beach, journeyed to his heavenly home on October 23, 2020. Lucion Jr. was born on February 3, 1931 in Eutaw, Alabama, to the late Lucion Bloxon Sr. and Alma Gould, and was a devoted Husband, Brother, Father, Grandfather, Great grandfather, and God Father.

He graduated from Eutaw High School in 1949. After graduating from high school, he joined the United States Air Force and was a decorated veteran who served his country in the Korean War along with 21 years on active duty in the United States Air Force as the Supply & Procurement supervisor, retired as Technical Sergeant (TSGT) in 1971.

In April 17, 1953, he married his high school sweetheart and best friend, Essie B. Bloxon of Eutaw Alabama, traveling to many states before making their home in Westhampton Beach NY.

Lucion Bloxon Jr. was blessed with a large and loving family (8), and is survived by his High School sweetheart and best friend, Essie B. Bloxon, sister Jacqueline Allen, his 7 children, Lucion Bloxon III, (Priscilla); Charles Bloxon (Pamela); Felicia Bloxon-Martin; Deborah Bloxon; Darryl Bloxon (Diane); Kenneth Bloxon (Donna); and Mitchell Bloxon (Michelle); 15 Grandchildren; 20 Great Grandchildren; 2 God Daughters, and a host of Nieces and Nephews.

His hobbies included spending time with his family, traveling, watching baseball (his favorite team was New York Yankees), fishing, working on cars and building things, he was a top-notch mechanic and carpenter, a master of many trades. He was mild mannered, but he carried a big stick, and would bring order to any room he walked in, a sharp dresser, a real jokester and would have you in stiches. He was a dedicated son, brother, uncle, husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.
His legacy will live on throughout the generations.

Lucion was preceded in death by his son Donald L. Bloxon; Father, Lucion Bloxon Sr.; Mother, Alma Bloxon; Sister, Sarah Bloxon, and Brothers, Lorenzo & Mobley Bloxon and his beloved Mother in-law Lilly Smith.
