Mary Crennan

Mary (Marilyn) Elizabeth Crennan, passed away on June 5th at the age of 91.  Marilyn was born on October 7,1930 to her parents, Henry and Marion Clarke.  She married Walter (Chuck) Crennan in 1952 and they raised their family, first in Remsenburg and eight years later moved to Westhampton Beach. They had five children and started a catering business that became successful over the years.  Marilyn was known to make everyone who worked for Chuck’s Catering feel welcomed and treated all like they were her family. When Chuck passed away in 1982, it left a void in her life.  She took up ballroom dancing and actively competed both domestically and internationally for years.

Marilyn was predeceased by her husband Chuck, her son, Shane and her son in law, Paul Schneider.  She is survived by Kip and Ginny Crennan, Judy Crennan, Cindy and Richard Harding, Tracy Schneider, and Scott and Rita Crennan.  She had 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

A private service was held at her gravesite at the Eastport Cemetery.
