Marybeth Isabelle Ryder “Bunny”
April 15, 1990-October 2, 2021
Marybeth was born on Easter Sunday which is why her family called her Bunny.
She passed away in London, England, where she had lived the past 3 years and had a job as a teacher.
Marybeth loved to see the world. She lived in Thailand, India, and Spain to mention a few places.
At the end of this school year in England she planned to travel on to other adventures. Marybeth was a warm, funny, caring person. Her beauty was not only on the outside, but in her heart.
She touched the lives of so many people, some for only a few moments, some for her lifetime. She leaves behind with broken hearts her Dad, Martin, and stepmother, Maribeth Ryder, of Eastport, NY; her Mom, Marcie, and stepfather, Donnie Bennett, of Speonk, NY; her much loved big brother, Michael, and his wife, Kasey Ryder, of Austin, Texas; her little brother, Donnie Bennett, of Speonk, NY; her baby sister, Mariah Ryder, of Eastport, NY. She leaves behind with much love her Grandma Ryder and Great-Aunt Alice Gordon of Islip, NY; her Grammy Kemp of Westhampton Beach, NY; her step-grandparents, Arlene and Don Bennett, of Westhampton, NY; her beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, second cousins, and step-cousins. Each of them, and there is many of them, all have a happy memory of her and she loved all of them.
Marybeth had many friends both here and across the seas. Each one of them meant something special to her. She has some cherished friends who she loved dearly and she would want them to go on and tell funny stories about her and remember her with smiles.
We don’t know why you left us, why all the love that surrounded you wasn’t strong enough to chase away your demons. You’re free now to run along the beaches with the sun on your face. Play in the moonbeams and dance among the stars. Feel the gentle rain from the heavens and slide down the rainbows.
Although our lives on earth will go on with broken hearts, our beautiful Bunny, and we can no longer hold you in our arms, we can find some sort of peace in knowing you loved us and you can be at peace knowing you are loved.
Love,
Mom, Dad, Maribeth, Donnie, Michael, Kasey, Donnie and Mariah
