Michael James Hubbard (Mike), born on January 8, 1960, passed away peacefully at home on March 1, 2025, after a short but courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. In his final days, Mike was surrounded by his loving family and friends, who celebrated his life and memories.
Mike was a devoted husband to his wife, Pamela, and a proud father to his four children: Leigh Ann (Coleman), Michael Jr., Amanda (Martuscello), and Grant. He was also a beloved grandfather to eleven grandchildren. Mike's family was the cornerstone of his life, and he cherished every moment spent with them.
Predeceased by his best friend and father, Grant, Mike’s legacy lives on in the hearts of his extended family including his siblings Thomas, Gary, Carla (DeStefano), his in-laws, and numerous nieces and nephews. Sadly, he was followed closely in death by his mother, Alva who passed within hours on the same day.
For 30 years, Mike was a dedicated employee at Speonk Lumber, where he was a trusted colleague and a valued member of the community he served. His commitment to both his work and the people around him was evident in everything he did.
Mike will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His kindness, loyalty, and unwavering love for his family and friends will forever be remembered.
Services will be held with family and friends to honor his memory. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to East End Hospice in Mike’s memory.
May he rest in peace.
