Michael Ogiejko Jr.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Michael Ogiejko Jr., who left us on May 7th, 2024.  He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Born on January 7th, 1953 in Riverhead, NY, Michael was the eldest son of Michael Ogiejko Sr. and Stella Ogiejko (nee Sokel).  He is survived by his wife Judy Ogiejko, his children Jocelynn Stone (Brian Stone) and Douglas Ogiejko (Rachel Kulesa Ogiejko).  He is also survived by his grandchildren Madison and Jackson Ogiejko.  Michael was a welder by trade and retired from Chesterfield Associates.  He was also a proud retired member of the East Quogue Fire Department. Some of his favorite things were cooking (especially Christmas breakfast for his family) as well as maintaining and enhancing his flower gardens.  He also enjoyed racing, playing Cornhole, Horseshoes and Bocce with his friends at the home he retired to, Foxwood Village, Calverton.  

Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 11, from 3:00 PM - 7:00PM at Werner-Rothwell Funeral Home, located at 60 Mill Road, Westhampton Beach, NY. A Funeral Service will be held during the Visitation at 6:00PM.
