Vivian Gillies

In loving memory of Vivian Gillies, who peacefully departed this life early Friday morning at Peconic Bay Medical Center in Riverhead. She was 78 years old.

Vivian was the cherished wife of Long Island broadcaster and Journalism Hall of Famer Drew Scott, and a devoted mother to Sally Gillies of Westhampton; Sara Garber of Williston, Vermont; Sandi Gillies of Sag Harbor; and Scott Gillies of Brentwood, California.
She was a loving grandmother to five grandchildren, a great-grandmother to one, and a dear sister to Ross Marturano Sr. of Kennewick, Washington. Vivian leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion that will continue to inspire all who knew her.
